Within the scope of this year’s commencement at Juniata College in Huntingdon, USA for the graduation of 351 students Dr. Christoph Schwemmlein, managing director of Gebr. Klöcker GmbH from Weseke, received a honorary degree of “humane letters”.
As a former student of Juniata, Schwemmlein graduated in 1984. During his speech, he reminded the degree holders to be “proud of today, but not to forget about the people who guided them on their way”.
Afterwards, the president of Juniata College Dr. James A. Troha solemnly conferred the honorary degree upon the German guest.
